Dull, discoloured, moss covered roof tiles can really affect the appearance of your property, not to mention the annoyance of falling moss littering your driveway, patio and garden.

As all properties requirements differ, Mossinator offers two methods to clear and clean your roof.

METHOD ONE

Uses the Mossinator Roof Cleaning Jet Wash and brush system this was specially designed by Mossinator and enables roof cleaning safely from ground level. The main advantage of this being that there is no use of ladders nor the need for anyone to climb onto the roof risking breaking tiles. This method will remove moss build up and clean your tiles giving them a ‘nearly new’ result. A: No, there will not be any water ingress as the water jets in the system are controlled and aimed in a downward position when coming into contact with the roof.

A: This method will not break your roof tiles but in some cases where there is a build-up of dense moss there may be broken tiles underneath that were not visible until the cleaning has taken place. If this is the case please be assured that this is not a problem as we have a team on hand who are able to replace any tiles.

A: Sometimes when houses have had an extension the tiles used have not been like for like, therefore, on occasion cleaning can make this difference more obvious. Although, in other cases the cleaning has made the older roof tiles a better match giving a more consistent colour. We appreciate that every property is different so we are more than happy to discuss this as part of your quotation.
A: This seems like a strange question to ask, but with some older properties where clean tiles may not be in keeping with the appearance of the property then we may suggest our second method of moss removal to be more suitable.

A: No. we always clear and vacuum all guttering after every job free of charge.

METHOD TWO

This is our Moss removal system which is carried out using our long reach telescopic brushes. We are usually able to brush away up to 90% of moss build up from your property using this method which is ideal if you are happy with the appearance of your roof and simply just want the moss removed. This method is primarily carried out from ground level, although in some cases we may need the use of a cherry picker if there are any hard to reach areas.

A: Yes, we are able to clean any tiles using this method but we my not always think this is the best method for your particular property so we are more than happy to discuss at the quotation.
